I had a nice birthday hangout w/ friends and family on Saturday 
I got some book stuff and Matt bought me my new enV3 <3 Today, we’re having breakfast at Denny’s and who knows what. Probably just hanging out til Matt goes to work/I go to school. Still, spending the day w/ my boy is a pretty good way to spend my birthday

Just a quick post tonight, I plan to post more when I’m out of school in a couple of weeks.
Saw 311 again, it was AWESOME Wore earplugs for the first time and it was great. I could hear the band and the music and my ears weren’t ringing afterwards. I got them from here: http://www.earplugs.ecrater.com/ So if you’re looking for decently priced earplugs, there ya go.
I relearned how to crochet and picked up loom knitting (thanks to my friend Ashley). Some lucky fellas are getting hats/scarves for xmas…or close to xmas
School is going pretty good. I got an A in my first mod and an A on my first final. This second mod is a little tougher so I may get a B but that’s ok with me.
This xmas is #6 for me and Matt. I do hate christmas and don’t know what I’d do without Matt during this season…or any season for that matter. (Awwwwwww)
This is going to have to be all for tonight. I have a hat to finish (not saying who it’s for!!) and some sleep to get sleepin’

The boyf and I doing the JDRF diabetes walk on October 25th. My little sister has diabetes and she’s awesome Our team is called Sam’s SuperWalkers. We did this walk 2 years ago and it was a lot of fun. My cousin and her boyfriend are joining us this year so our team will be a little bigger. If you are interested in donating, you can go here:

Yeah, that’s right. A new post
So, I’ve seen a bunch of movies since the last time I posted. Crank 2 was goddamn hilarious (I will see any movie that Jason Statham stars in), Wolverine was ok (it was exactly what I was expecting, which wasn’t all that great to begin with), Star Trek f’in rocked (altho it needed more Scotty), Terminator was good (made me long for Batman), Night at the Museum was not as good as the first one (Amy Adams was good tho), and The Hangover was so frickin funny (I love the ‘reh-tard’ in the beginning-it still makes me giggle, as did the baby getting hit w/ the car door). We finally made it to see Up in 3D this weekend and yes, I did cry. It was sad in a couple parts. Dug was awesome, I’d watch a whole movie about him And the Party Cloudy short before the movie was super cute!
I also started a new blog called ‘After the Movie‘. I let you know if there is anything after (or during) the credits so you know whether you have to stay or not I only have a few movies up now and if you’d like to help, just let me know.
I fell in love with 311 all over again, thanks to ‘Uplifter’. And 2 weeks from today, I’ll get to see them live! This will be my 11th time. I can’t wait to hear some of the new songs The new(ish) Incubus comes out today, Monuments and Melodies. I’ll be seeing them for the first time on August 8th.
Oh and I did get to meet Chuck Palahniuk again. I was #47 in line. I got to meet him after the Q&A, which was pretty funny. I was just bummed that I didn’t get a penguin 
But he was awesome and now I have a signed copy of ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Pygmy’ to go with my signed ‘Choke’. I found out that Stephen King is doing another round of signings for Under The Dome and the first event is in NYC. Yes I’ve already met him twice but c’mon! It’s Stephen King! Plus I’ll probably get to see some Skemer buddies too.
I had my wisdom teeth out on June 1st. That sucked big time. I am glad I only had 4 wisdom teeth. I can barely remember Monday. I had the whole week off of work but it wasn’t like I thought it was going to be. I felt like shit so I didn’t feel like doing anything and I barely read any books. I did manage to read the Scott Pilgrim series and I really like it. I can’t wait til book #6 and the movie Now I’m finally reading some Christopher Moore. And I’ve been buying a shitload of books lately so I have plenty to read once I’m done w/ Mr Moore. I found out that Piers Anthony wrote an 8th ‘Incarnations of Immortality’ and I’ve missed the last 3 Xanth books so they’re on the way. Also Jacqueline Carey has 2 new books out, ‘Santa Olivia’ and ‘Namaah’s Kiss’.
I did have a lot more I wanted to write about but that was last night and I forgot what I wanted to say. Oh well, maybe next time

So wow…it’s been a month and a half since I posted? Oops.
Well, I went on vacation in March. With my boyf and our friend and her family. Her dad’s fiancee has a time share in PA and she let us use it for a week. It was awesome. I spent a lot of time just relaxing and reading. We attempted snowboarding but we both sucked big time. So we tried skiing. I couldn’t get the hang of it and lost my patience and went home. The boyf picked it up just fine. I’ll try again, with a proper lesson and all…Our anniversary was March 13th (Friday the 13th..haha) so we went horseback riding. It was my first time and it was great. I kind of felt like I was going to fall off the horse a couple of times but I really enjoyed it. Then we went to see Last House on the Left. It was pretty good. Better than the original. We finished up with dinner at Cracker Barrel Nice way to spend our 5 year anniversary.
Work is still annoying…hopefully getting better soon. I’m trying to handle things better. Like this one asshole has a humongous attitude about everything and she never does anything wrong. I gave her something to fix and she threw it across the table. So instead of going off on her and calling her all kinds of colorful expletives, I ignored her and went right to the manager. I’m not the only person having a problem with her so hopefully something will be done. Everyone is under enough stress already with policy changes and things being cracked down on that should’ve been cracked down on all along. Don’t need to be stuck working with people like that.
Last week I finally went to have 2 problem teeth removed. One was a remnant caused by a root canal and the other had a huge cavity and wasn’t worth saving. So I went to the dentist and they couldn’t get me numb enough. The guy went thru 4 vials of whatever he was using…still felt it. And he didn’t believe that I was feeling pain. He kept saying ‘Oh it’s just pressure!’ while I had tears in my eyes. I wound up missing work on Monday and Tuesday cuz my mouth hurt so bad. They gave me Vicodin but it didn’t do much except make me sleepy and lightheaded. Yesterday, I went to an oral surgeon to get knocked out to have the teeth removed. Now I’ve been knocked out for procedures twice before. Both times I woke up, I was ok. Just felt like I had been sleeping. This time, I was panicking a little. They had strapped my arms to the chair (one had the blood pressure cuff and the other had the IV) and I kept pulling on them. They wouldn’t let me up until I calmed down. I wasn’t freaking out, I just couldn’t relax. My mouth was stuffed with gauze and I had the nastiest headache. Eventually, I calmed down enough and got out of there. They said they used Novocaine to numb me while I was out but damn..it still hurt. I’m recovering today. They gave me Vicoprofen this time and that sucks. Luckily I still had some Lortab left from my root canal. But now I feel nauseous. And I have to rinse out with salt water all day today. Yuck. I get to go thru this all over again when I have my wisdom teeth out. Whee.
I’ve missed a bunch of TKD cuz of these mouth shenanigans. I started taking my uniform to work so I could leave from work and go right to class. That way I can’t come home and get all comfy and skip class. But I can’t go with my mouth like this. And it really sucks cuz I’m up for my orange belt but I don’t feel ready cuz I missed so much class. Ah well…maybe I’ll have it by May.
Oh, I’m probably going to get to meet Chuck Palahniuk again! He’s doing a reading/signing for Pygmy (comes out may 5th) at the Free Library of Philadelphia. It’s on a Friday but I already got the all clear to leave work early. I’m excited First Chris Moore, now Chuck Palahniuk!
I forgot. I met Christopher Moore. He did a Q&A/signing in West Chester so the boyf and I went up to meet him. I had him sign my copy of ‘A Dirty Job’ and got a pic:

I had some exciting music news too. I knew that 311 has a new cd in June but I just found out that Incubus does too!! 2 weeks after 311. I can’t wait. I’m also going to see 311 this year. In Philly, they aren’t coming to AC this year. But I don’t care Last time I saw them was @ the Borgata in ‘07. I didn’t see them last year cuz they were playing with Snoop Dogg and I wasn’t interested in all that :/ It would be flippin awesome if Incubus decides to hit the Jersey shore! I haven’t seen them live yet. Damn. Just checked. They aren’t playing in AC but they’ll be in Philly on Aug 8th. I’ll be there too Just preordered both cds from Amazon. And since Amazon rocks, I’ll have em both the day the come out Oh hey thanks Amazon! I forgot about the new Green Day too *preordered*
Well I’m starting to feel nauseous again so I think I should try to eat something…And I want to go read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Went to see the Dark Knight for the 7th time tonight Just as awesome and exciting as the last 5 times. I don’t include the first time cuz nothing will compare to that. We went to the IMAX theater cuz I had free tix but they wouldn’t let us use them :p Oh well, I got to see the Dark Knight one last time…in theaters. Now I have the dvd and the boyf’s surround sound. It’s amazing how happy DK makes me
I didn’t watch the Oscars but I read somewhere that Heath won Best Supporting Actor. Damn straight. What’s pissing me off is people saying he wouldn’t have won if he was still alive. Dude. WTF? He fuckin ROCKED the Joker, brought the character to life, right out of the damn comics. But no, he doesn’t deserve the Oscar, he only got it cuz he’s dead. Whatthefuckever.
The boyf and I were talking about Superman and how he hopes they can come up with a Superman movie as good as the Dark Knight. I dunno…No way I’ll like any Superman movie as much as DK but I don’t really like Superman anyway. Batman’s been #1 for me since I was a wee one.
We have our Watchmen midnight tickets. The boyf is reading the graphic novel and he likes it so far. I may have to read it before we go to refresh my memory. We got to see the trailer in IMAX which is awesome. And I got all excited cuz I thought they were going to show a Harry Potter trailer. NO. Just Dumbledore talking, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and something about IMAX. WTFH. I know now how it feels to have blue balls. Fuck you, HP fakeout.
Only 2 more weeks til we get to go skiing for the first time I really can’t wait. We’ll be in the Shawnee Mountain area for a week and we’re going with our good friend Tiff and her husband and kids. We’re bringing the Wii so we can have some bowling competitions. What’s awesome is that we don’t have to pay for lodging, just food and rentals. I’m just happy to get away from work and NJ. With a the new changes due to the new company buying us out, it’s been a little stressful. And of course, there are other things I need to get away from. I’m going to miss TKD class for a week But I’ll be ready to kick ass when I get back, assuming my clumsy ass doesn’t break my 27 year streak of not having any broken bones. Also, the boyf and I will be celebrating out 5 year anniversary while we’re on vaca. 5 years. Wow. As he likes to say, feels like 50 XP
Well I probably should head to bed…I have to leave work early tomorrow to get a frucking root canal..on a front tooth. And the boyf will be at work so I’m stuck taking care of myself. Oh well, the doc gave me some Lortab (Hydro/Apap) and I fully intend on feeling no flippin pain tomorrow. Last time I got a root canal I got nothing so I had to suffer thru the pain. This time, uh-uh. We were laughing when we saw that he prescribed Lortab because it’s almost Vicodin and all I’d need is a limp (and a medical degree) and I’d be House ;D
Anyway, if I wind up saying anything silly (or sillier than normal), it’s all the Lortab’s fault. Hopefully I won’t be online at all and I’ll be sleeping thru the worst of the pain. And I won’t have to think about how hungry I’m going to be :/ Fuck. My mouth already hurts just thinking about the gdamn dentist.
Off to bed. Hopefully I won’t have any scary dentist dreams…
