I’m just a bored girl writing in a blog. I love movies, music and books. I don’t know what I would do without them. My posts may be a little…vulgar at times but that’s how I am.
I love horror movies. I’m a sucker for good gore 
I also like comedies, like Ghostbusters and Wayne’s World. I DESPISE romantic comedies or chick flicks. They make me want to tear out my ovaries in disgust.
As for music, I’ve been listening to a lot of classic rock lately. I can’t explain why…Some of my fave classic rock songs are “Pink Cadillac” by Bruce Springsteen, “You May Be Right” by Billy Joel and, of course, “Angie” by the Rolling Stones My fave band of all time is 311.
I don’t watch a lot of tv. My fave shows are House, the Office, Pushing Daisies, Better Off Ted, Community, Parks and Recreation and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I also like Stargate Atlantis, True Blood, Scrubs, Dead Like Me, Rescue Me, Quantum Leap and Old ER.
I read a lot. I used to be strictly horror but now I like mystery, fantasy, historical fiction and supernatural. My fave author is Stephen King and I’ve met him twice. He’s such a nice guy! Lisey’s Story is one of my faves. I also like Richard Laymon, Jack Ketchum, Chuck Palahniuk, Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison, Jim Butcher, Jacqueline Carey and Robert R. McCammon. There are a lot more but those are the main authors I like.
I am a Batman fan. I have been since I was 2 years old. I used to watch the old Batman tv show with my mom. I friggin loved it and I still do. As you can tell by my username, I am a big Batgirl fan. When I was little, I wanted to be a librarian/Batgirl just like Barbara Gordon Who am I kidding, I still do!! I also love the Joker. I am extremely happy with Heath’s performance in the Dark Knight. He brought the Joker to life, right off the comic pages. And it’s a goddamn shame that someone that talented is gone.
I have a fiance and he’s fantastic. We’ve been together for 6 years. We got engaged on March 13th, 2010 (our 6th anniversary). I asked him to marry me (ha, sort of) and he said yes. We’ve had our problems but we’re dealing with them. He honestly is the best thing to ever happen to me. I don’t know what I would do without him.
My Guilty Pleasures: reading about stupid celebrities, watching Charmed, Gone with the Wind, Wizard of Oz, cute puppies, laughing when the Joker gets one over on Batman (yes, that includes killing that little bitch Robin and getting away with it), optimism
Likes: books, chocolate, tigers, “Clean Cotton” Yankee candles, hoodies, comfy shoes, laughing and making people laugh
Dislikes: talking to strangers, stupidity, lack of common sense, unwarranted immaturity, nosy skanks, spiders, deep water, seafood, liars, and horrible book-to-movie adaptations (just ask my fiance)

Jim Butcher is one of my favorite authors as well. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in the Dresden Series!
